Metro Truck Rental is a family business started in a small gas station in Bessemer, Alabama in 1974 by Eddie Lumpkin. The business is still run by Eddie and his family, and even though it has grown to be the largest truck rental company in Alabama, it is still run with the same family values and commitment. Today we have ten locations in the Birmingham metro area and have grown our fleet to over 500 trucks, vans, and cars.
As a locally owned and operated company, we believe there’s nothing more important than treating people well. We know that satisfied customers are our best way to reach more people in the future. Our growth has always come from taking care of people better than anyone else, and we plan to keep doing exactly that.
We follow through; when we tell you we will have a truck for you, you can count on it. We don’t raise our rates during the times when people most need a truck. You will always get the best equipment at the best price possible.
